Show Off – To behave in an impudent manner. An exhibitionist.

Show Off Entertainment was formed by a group of friends from South Queens NY in 2002 initially as a dance group. Originating from various parts of the western hemisphere and sharing an interest in the Dancehall Reggae and Hip Hop music. Being each uniquely eccentric, individuals it was decided we would call ourselves Show Off, a name fitting of our behavior.

After the dance group dissolved in 2003 Dj Ace & Stokelife began to promote parties throughout Queens NY. Holding events at: Onipa Abusia, Premier, Element, Club Rum, Diamond Lounge, Hollywood & Main. In an effort to connect with our community we begun producing spoken word and poetry open mic events in November of 2007 at The Afrikan Poetry Theater. Open mic has allow artists to hone their for a live audience and network with other creative beings.. Poets, musicians and even a few politicians have graced our stages. All are welcome to perform and be broadcast on out Youtube channel. We have held events at The Afrikan Poetry Theater, Fulton Park and Chashama Windows on 42nd. A few notable performers who have graced the stage includes: Lamar Hill, Ibrahim POET Siddiq, The Werdsman, Tut Burks, Shareef Ali, Ms Bizzy Body, Primo, Osage, Distinguish, Essence, Element, Honest Abe, Empress Poetry, RQ Tek, The Metaphysical Lyrical Wizard, Kapotheosis and many others. At the time this was written we had over 300 Youtube videos of performances. Our goal is to simply have fun, meet positive and creative people while helping someone along the way.
